While attending a Tri County Tech recruitment event in high school, Emily learned about the option of earning college credit while attending TCT. Although her goal was to gain college credit through TCT, Emily feels she gained tremendous value from her educational experiences in the rigorous Marketing Management program, experiences that gave her a “leg up” against her peers and set her up for success.
Emily says, the “TCT Marketing Management program taught me how to become comfortable with public speaking. We continually practiced for our DECA competitions with great involvement from the administration. After presenting to the Superintendent, other teachers and administration, they would give wonderful feedback in such a caring way. They truly care about your success! Beyond public speaking, it taught me how to manage work/life/school balance. Without reservation, I can truly say TCT gave me confidence in myself and the push I needed to start growing!”
Emily is currently employed with ConocoPhillips in Bartlesville as a Revenue Analyst. She still enjoys visiting the TCT campus because it “feels like returning home.” She says, “The instructors/administrators love to have updates about my life and cherish my successes as if I am still a current student and as though nine years have not already passed.”
